It’s links to forwards I want to see. The priority has to be us getting in 3 forwards, who can lay a platform for the backline. Even if that meant King going and us running with 3 centres of Wardle, Thornley and Eckersley, I wouldn’t be hugely concerned.

Agree as long as they have a decent enough platform, Smith/Field/French/Marshall will produce points no matter whose with them.

Direct and good replacements for Singo, Mago, KPP and maybe Isa.

So far we have only have 1 in Walters.

The Dupree bid gives me the sense that the open market for forwards is difficult.

Don’t know too much about Lee but he’s played origin, is a decent age and has been picked when fit for most clubs he’s been at in the NRL, currently ahead of Gildart who was one of the better centres in the league when he was over here. Seems a decent profile, although seems he’s been hampered a lot by injuries which isn’t ideal.
We need a senior centre if King is going and there doesn’t seem a lot available on the domestic market so I’m happy enough with this, probably means at least one of Cust, Miski or Isa is leaving.

Brenko Lee would be the least exciting signing of all time. He is as average as average gets and doesn't improve us one bit

It’s tough because he’s been very good for us but he will likely want assurances of playing time but until we find out what’s happening with French and Field we probably can’t offer this.

Huddersfield's salary cap needs to be more top-heavy if anything - they have no stand out stars in their team. They have great squad depth as every signing they make seems to be average to quite good on their day. Miski is exactly that - good on his day with strong carries and a decent finisher. On the other hand he gets exposed defensively, isn't the quickest and always seems to have a mistake or two in him.

I agree, Plus, he's only just come back, been injured for ages. We have a promising young centre at the club already, props need to be the priority.
