It was rumoured but I never saw any confirmation. The only real pull (other than him being a very good player when on form and fully fit) is that he’s British IMO and it helps with the quota but that shouldn’t be enough to take such a gamble. Walters looks good for Leeds tonight, so him in the front row is promising (and he can back up in the second row if needed). Let Mago go, let Cust go and sign a starting overseas prop and second rower and the jobs a good un.

There are so many of these, tough, mobile, try-scoring second-rowers in the NRL right now; I was watching Jackson Page of the NZW earlier, he's one of many. Surely we can bag one?

Mago to Cas on loan with a view to a 2 year deal from next year.

I don’t rate him whatsoever but I think it’s smart not to let go until we have a replacement. It was only a couple of weeks back we had Harvey Makin in the squad who is not full time first team squad member.

I see Mago filling in when people need a rest e.g week before the Semi final.

Getting an upgrade would be a result.

Put in more than 10 mins.
Make more than 30 metres.
Make more than half a dozen tackles.

Could probably find a few at Judes & Pats. For an ex NRL prop his lack of fitness is a disgrace.

He's fell into the 'I will go over to England and toss it off for a few seasons because it's an easy league' category. He was on the periphery for Souths, in and out of the 17 so either they are sh!!!te or he has downed tools.Very hit and miss these overseas additions.

Can we not have a permanent scout stationed over there and find us 6 Carmont's?

Imagine if we could find a version of Carmont for each position of centre, prop, SR and a utility 'Sam Panapa' type player? Chuck in a half and we'd be set for years
