Apparently we only came in for him a couple of days ago, was dead set to sign for Catalans.

Good signing that. I said a while back on redvee that Clark, Dwyer and Leeming were all out of contract and I’d have taken any of the 3. (Dwyer to a lesser extent).
As it happens Saints, Wigan and Warrington have got 1 each.
Good player is Leeming.

A good signing is Leeming. Also an experienced player who can understand fully what's required of him.

Time will tell but both are very good players. Differnce is, they are losing probably (actually, definately) the best hooker SL has ever seen and we are more than likely losing Sam Powell.....

Yep, just having a bit of fun, Clark really did look like the heir apparent to Roby as best no.9 in the league a couple of years back but seems to have gone back a bit, maybe the change of scenery will be good for him but whoever Saints signed to replace Roby was going to be a downgrade, not a lot they could do to change that as Roby's been that good.

It’s like a playing version of Sir Alex Ferguson walking away. There is no way you can realistically get an upgrade (unless they put a marquee bid in for Harry Grant). Clark is very good when fit and at his best but he’s another aging body, who seems to be picking up more injuries as the years go by. If he stays fit, he’s about as good as they could manage in fairness.

Clark hasn't looked lately like a player whose career was on an upward trajectory. So a change of club might well galvanise him.
