So we've recruited Walters & Chan.
Assuming Singleton (Salford) and Mago (rumored) both leave. Is that good enough for props/would you class that as sufficient strengthening?
I'm not sure unless, one of the above stays on or we recruit another big prop.

Think we’re one prop short. Both Mago and Singleton to go. I see Walters as more of a replacement for KPP in the second row, filling in at Prop when needed. Hopefully go out and bring an experienced Aussie prop. Would have two senior props in the Aussie and Cooper and then the younger one. Not sure on Taki, not really seen much of him. Would like to see King stay but if keighran would be a great replacement. Not sure he will make the same metres as king though

Would have thought we'll get two more overseas forwards to go with Keighran.
Sounds a lot but we may potentially be losing Mago, Isa and Singleton along with KPP and Bateman.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

Walters replaces KPP
Chan replaces Silva maybe even Singleton
Still Mago will be on half decent money and we need a proper prop, no hood going into the season with Byrne, Havard, Hill, Walter and Chan as our props as they’re very young. There’s got to be some cash for a decent experienced prop.

Lad at rugby tonight reckons Wigan are signing Daine Laurie to replace Cade Cust next season. The rest of Super League might as well give up at this rate. Pace to burn... Googled him when I got back and see SeriousaboutRL are linking him to Warrington or Leeds. Replacement for Dufty would make sense as apparantly he's headed home as soon as they'll let him go.

My mates son is a Wigan lad (and fan) in the Warrington academy set up. Came home from training tonight saying he was told we’ve signed 2 Aussies that will be announced soon. No names unfortunately but sounds promising.

When was the last time we signed so many players at once? 2006??
Brian Fletcher
Micky Higham
Scott Logan
Feka
Pat Richards
Mark Calderwood
If the rumours are true we may see as many new faces in 2024.

Good set of signings from Maurice back then, bar the Newton/Higham switch. But we had Ian Millward as coach...
