I know it was the presumed case anyway, but that must all but confirm that Powell will be the hooker making way for Leeming.

Talk in Rugby Union circles is that Saracens are likely to offer Owen £1million a year to sign a new contract. I guess he's going to have to REALLY want to join us to turn that down

Wigan have just posted a snippet of what looks like an O’Neil interview saying there’s no other place he’d want to be. Possibly seeing a new contract?

And in the same breath he’s signed on till 2027

I don’t think that Forber will be leaving anytime soon.

Unless Powell is leaving I think it would be odd to have 4 senior hookers in the squad and not good management in a salary capped sport.

You just can’t see how Powell stays on. If a deal wasn’t set up elsewhere, I don’t think we’d announce Leeming. I can see him going to Leigh tbh. His best season in a Wigan shirt was under Lam and he’s good mates with a couple of the Leigh players.
