I very much doubt Nicholson wants back, not enough to make it happen anyway, just think it’s fans talk imo.

Tyrone May deal to Bulldogs fell through, so he is now being offered to super league clubs. Fully expect Catalan to re-sign him if he stays over here, but would be very happy if he made his way over to us to replace Cust! Not sure if I would have him back.
He is for sure an outstanding talent but how he left us has left a particularly bad taste.
Even if we could get him back I suspect that our 2024 cap is already spoken for with the announcements already made and hopefully a few more still to be announced.

If Nicholson wanted back I don't think there should be any vendetta from the fans or Wigan preventing it happening at some stage. It felt at the time like a rash decision from an impatient young player but he was entitled to make it. The problem is he's now contractually committed to Warrington for 3-4 years, I'd be amazed if Wigan would pay a transfer fee for him and Warrington are hardly in a position where they can simply hold the door open for him.
