Also agree with the sentiments of him getting a job on the backroom staff. Not many people have had the journey or breadth of experience that Isa has. Add in his undoubted commitment, attitude and personality and there's plenty he could teach the academy/scholarship lads.

I think he’d be a big miss if he did retire even going in to next year. I’ve not heard anything that says otherwise guessing it all hinges on how he recovers.

I understand he has been told even prior to the injury that he was free to explore his options going into 2024 as we wouldn’t be offering him a new deal.

I'm talking about Isa. Close to the deadline, but if he's done from A - this season's perspective and B - as a career, then why not retire and see what can be done?
