Purely going off how Powell reacted and answered a question in the lounge on Saturday I honestly believe he’ll be leaving at the end of the season.

He must see the writing on the wall, dropped for poor performances and now we’ve signed Leeming and we have O’Neill to run at 9. There’s just no place for him in this side, which in itself is a shame as whilst we may question his ability you can’t question his attitude or commitment.

I think it’ll be best all round to be honest otherwise he risks seeing out his career as a bit part player and I don’t think he deserves that.

I think he’ll move on and that’s going to be for the best for him and us. I do actually think he can play a pretty big part in the end of the season for us first though. He’s a leader and brings experience and as much as some would make you believe he was the main reason for our up and down form, we’ve not been any more consistent in his absence and defensively, I think we’ve missed him. He’d be my pick for the last bench spot, ahead of Cust, Shorrocks etc.

Looks like Leeds might have signed Dane Gagai. 32 or not, what a player. Not sure about the rumour of him being signed for full back but as a centre, he would rule SL in that spot.

33 at the start of next season, dropped for origin at the start of this year series. Forms been iffy for years.

He has been very hit and miss this last couple of years but I’m sure he would still go well in SL.

I’m not sure he would go as well as the wage he would command if he were to come but ultimately with the marquee ruling he becomes much less of a risk.

If I’m honest he’s not a signing that puts fear into me as an opposition fan however I’d like to see it if it were to happen.

Seems to go well for Queensland Gagai but his record in the NRL isn't anything special. I tried to think of a couple of wing/centres who came here, from the NRL, in their early 30's and Kenny-Dowall and Naiqama came to mind. They both scored around a try in every 2 and a bit games over their NRL careers. Gagai scores a try approximately every 3 and a half games. He will be 33 at the start of next season and likely to command huge money. It's one of those signings that could work either way but I don't think he's the type that will come here and leave us speechless.

I’m sure Gagai is quaking in his boots at the thought of playing against speed bump wardle and that ginger haired goal kicker from Catalans whose name escapes me.
