Yes there is. He was very good last year up to picking up an elbow injury and since then his confidence seemed to dip.

From that point on it became a bit of a shoot out between him and Miski with French moving to 6 and as Custs form dipped Miski took his opportunity. I personally think he would be a good for Leeds and if a coach can get his confidence back you will have a good player on your hands.

From a Wigan perspective he doesn’t really compliment Smith but if you are looking for an organiser he could very well be your man.

The rumours of Cust going to Leeds are probably based on the post on this thread. Given whose wrote the article, just wants some clicks

Can’t see it happening. He’s one injury to if O’Neill/Miski/Marshall/Field/French/Smith miss any games Cust would potentially play a significant role.

See no upside in Wigan letting him go now only to “do right by the player” and let him put himself in the shop window to get a deal next year.

I think if Leeds sign him it will be a longer contract than just to the end of the year.

Can’t see you guys letting him go otherwise

Why would Leeds length of contract for Cust impact us letting him go?

I don't think we should release early unless there is something in it for us I'm afraid. Whether that be a player swap (Walters) or cash payment either way. Salford didn't just let Dupree go for us, it took a significant fee plus Singleton.
