I know but I think the signing of Leeming and extension of O’Neill maybe indicates he might leave, add to him losing his place this year in the side.

Powell must be leaving or the move for Leeming makes no sense. I just can’t see that we’d tie ourselves in to a squad of consisting of 3 hookers, all of which have a case to be starting games, plus a younger 4th choice hooker in Forber.

The only way it would potentially make sense is if they feel O’Neill or Powell could play 13 but I don’t think that’s a great idea. Like you say with Forber is excessive to have that many hookers even with injuries and Leeming potentially covering in the halves if needed.

O’Neill has played 13.

O’Neill looked equally at home at loose forward in the academy, so you never know but it still feels like Powell will be in the outer and I just can’t see him staying. It would be an unusual set up under the cap to carry that many hookers.

I wouldn’t pay Mago to stop on in bottle tops. The useless lazy lump has had his chance and is only playing better because other clubs will be looking at him because we are letting him go, expect him to sign for Hulll FC and have a good game against us and kick off with one of our props.
