With Walters and Nsemba I’m not concerned about our size issues in the secondrow moving forward.

He’s 22 natural strike runner and tough.

I’ve heard he are still to announce 2 more signing a secondrow and a prop from overseas.

I don’t see both being big names given cap restraints but if the secondrow is at a level similar to him then I’d be very happy.

yeah but if he plays hes too small there..

If they sign another centre that is surely the end of the road for either Wrench or King (unless they move King upto the back row) Wire would be absolutely mental to let Wrench go but it would be a really Warrington thing to do. I'd have no problem giving him the no. 3 shirt here. He has all the tools in his locker.

Hamlin was OK (obviously prior to the drug test fail...). Wonder what happened to him.

That's just what I was thinking. Wrench is a talented lad, and good enough for regular first-team rugby.

I'd love to hang on to King; he clearly loves it at Wigan.

The more the transfer picture progresses the more i think French is leaving at the end of the season. Warrington signing centres has to be the end for King there. Wrench will probably be brought on by them next season. I get the feeling Wigan didn't want to announce Keighran but the news was already out there un-officially and it probably forced their hand. Keighran to 6 and King to come in permanently would be my guess. We all know French was very close to going home last year. I'd be gutted but the man owes us nothing if it transpires to be the case and is a modern day great. I could see him going well at FB for an NRL side and there is nothing wrong with his tackling ability.

Will somebody please tell me i am talking rubbish

The NRL does seem to be well blessed with fullbacks. I'm struggling to see which teams would consider him an upgrade on what they already have (maybe Canterbury and Wests - both of which seem a bit of a car crash at the moment). Depends if he wants to go home and not be a regular starter. Just going home might be enough to shift him though

Surely it’s a stretch choosing him over Wardle and Keighran? One an international centre having a cracking season and another likely to be in this seasons dream team? Wrench is on dual reg from Wire who are in awful form and lacking centres. I agree he looks a talent but I think that’s a stretch and don’t see us going for him even if he became available as we have Eckersely coming through who looks a fair talent.

I think you’re talking rubbish, it’s been confirmed to my knowledge by all parties King is returning, Warrington don’t seem overly outnumbered at centre to me as Ratchford is just a fill in Matautia is leaving and Wrench has yet to break through properly and is coming off the back on an injury.
French leaving I have heard zero rumours of this and as has been pointed out I’m struggling to see where he gets in at full back in the NRL (that’s not saying he’s not good enough) and if a team wanted a full back from Superleague I think they will go to Welsby.
Imo both French and Field could be here for a long time if we want, French is 29 so I think his window for returning may have gone, the problems at home have also passed. Field I just think is too small for the NRL ( that’s what they feel anyway) the only way I could see it is if the salary cap disparity gets so big that a back up NRL back gets paid more than a starting Superleague player. I will caveat this by saying things at home may pull them back and over rule sporting decisions.
