Let's face it we aren't gonna be signing the Thurstons, Cronks or Carneys anytime soon.

Soward whilst not at that elite level still ticks a lot of boxes. He's only 27, he's got big game experience, he's played a key role in a title winning picture and most importantly he's a good player with a kicking game.

He's not the greatest defender tho.

I'd love him at Wigan

I'd sign him up in an instant he'd have the best kicking game in SL by a mile & thats something we're severely lacking at the moment

However the reality is very different. I can't see Soward leaving the NRL. I'm sure he's pushing for Origin selection. Is he OOC? Chances are his management are just branding our name around ('English glamour club') to boost his pay packet.

He's OOC at end of 2013, they said he could come beginning of 2013 as he may get released.

Soward is an exceptional player. Current nsw stand off.
