To be honest I’m content with out squad for 2024. I think it looks (on paper) a very good, balanced side with power across the park and what’s more, the bench.

Yeah, I do think we are going to be slightly better next season although since his return I am a lot more gutted KPP is leaving and think he will be a big loss. I did expect at least one signing from the NRL but Mago has been like a new signing the last couple of months so if he keeps this form up we are well set.

Agreed re KPP, he will be a huge loss. He’s turned into a key player and a monster of one at that. With him and the mooted departures of Cust/Thornley/Powell/Rocky it may well be that we have some money to spend if we need to. I don’t particularly think we’re crying out to fill a position at the moment. The halves maybe but French has done an excellent job in the halves despite my earlier misgivings.
Save the money incase we get hampered by injuries, Dupree turning out to be a bigger signing than expected, imagine if we was relying on Brad Singleton?
Fair play to KPP, he’s finishing as you’d hope every player would-making an impact and throwing everything in to it. It’s taken a maybe a bit too long to see this version but I’m glad he’ll exit on really good terms. I’m excited by Walters though and he looks extremely talented. In terms of a like for like, I don’t think we could’ve done much better. The emergence of Nsemba as well leaves us in a good spot. Those are two absolute monsters we have available in that back row and to think the surface has hardly been scratched in regards to their potential, it’s looking good.

"Games as big as a grand finals define individuals and clubs. Remember we are only renting these shirts, I had my time in Pat Richards shirt. Ellery and Faz had there time in Sean's, Hampo and Radders in Sam's. You have to make a mark in these shirts that's still there the day you hand it over to someone else. So be aware for 80 minutes you are not only playing but also writing history and creating a legacy. How many people get to actually write history, not many. A big stage demands big players, be inspired. You play for Wigan, now go do it. Good luck." - Martin Offiah, 2010.
Byrne Havard Mago Dupree Ellis Cooper (fingers crossed for a full recovery) Chan Hill
Dupree instead of Singo is a game changer.
Mago and Ellis completely settled at Wigan now.
Byrne and Havard have shown their career best form this year and hope for another kick on next year.
Walters will be used in the KPP role.
The Chan signing is a bit of a puzzler. Not got in the Catalans side much this season and not sure if he's better than what we had. Time will tell though - the club must see potential
