The deal could have been done months ago a bit like when Clark left Cas. He was Out of Contract but Wire stumped up cash mid season to secure his signature early so others couldn’t.
I know the lad quoting this personally and I know he won’t be telling porkies and he more than likely will have indirect contact to the management at Trinity.
I have 0 reason to doubt him but I admit I’m a little surprised by the move if it comes off.
