I would yes. I'd slap the number 1 jersey on his back and tell him to cause havoc ala Sam Tomkins.

You can't just put a quick HB at FB and think he will be the next Sam tomkins. He has a rugby brain, it tells him when he should do certain things.

That is Sams biggest strength. Can eastmond do the same job? I'm not so sure. He would still be one of the best FBs in superleague but not at the same level as Sam.

Would be a massive improvement on Wellens. (I still think lomax would be a great number 1)

He'd almost certainly return as damaged goods but maybe, hopefully, a hell of a lot humbler - which would be a necessity, as judging by the example of Lee Smith (who was only there for a few months), he'd need to learn how to play RL all over again.

However, he's still young enough to do that.

Personally, I'd welcome the return of any one of these young kids who foolishly let their agents talk them into thinking the RU grass is always greener. If Eastmond is available, I'd hope Wigan make enquiries.

he still the same made out of glass, but bath did say they will give him time.

As said, he's still a biscuit, and not many (if any) have come back from RU into a starting position in a top team (Pryce - awful, Lee Smith - no where near as good, Chev Walker - see previous statement...). I could go on.
