Ah right read it wrong sorry. I agree I was impressed with him at Salford, don't recall seeing much of him at HKR but would have liked to see him come through in the wane/maguire era.

Heard on twitter that Jarrod Sammut is leaving bulls, I'd take him as a bench player to come on and change the game I think he would add a lot to our team. However I've read he's on his way to London or Huddersfield.

I'd hate us to sign a half of that calibre given that we have Hampshire, Sarginson, Powell and Williams chomping at the bit. Can see Hampshire being rated more highly than Sammut by the end of the season anyway

In relation to Sammut no thanks, he is no better than we already have in reserve.

I hope the loan deal for Lloyd is confirmed. I think we need to keep him a Wigan player for at least 2 more full seasons.

I appreciate he is a slow burner but there are certain aspects of his game that I feel mean he could be a very special player. He has weaknesses but with experience at first team level week in week out I am sure these will improve significantly.

Out of all our backrow cover, I feel long term he is the most likely to cement a place as an incumbent in the 11, 12 or 13 position.

interesting that you see his future in the back row, where as his recent matches for London and Wales have been at centre. do you think that Wane will loan him out to get SL experience regardless of position, or will he try to get him experience in what he considers to be his long term future ?

Andy Powell's wife has just confirmed he has left on twitter.

Must have room on the cap, Larne Patrick will hopefully replace him.
