I have to say that I think people underrate Kevin Brown too much.

We have clear memories of his regular donkeyisms when he was playing for us, but, though I suspect he's still error-prone, he's often looked like an effective strike player when I've seen him playing for Hudds.

The sticking point, of course, would be money. I doubt Wigan would be prepared to pay him the kind of fee he'd want.

I think he is overrated personally. Dont get me wrong he has had the odd good game and really taken Hudds forward, but these (from what i have seen) are in the minority.

Even when he has been on song, he has never wowed me with his ability.

He is also a master brain farter and his passing is sketchy at best.

Not for me personally.

I expect the odd Giants fan to totally disagree with me. I am not to bothered tbh, they think that Keith Mason and Luke Robinson are good players

The only reason we're even talking about Kev Brown is cos he's a wiganer. If he wasn't, there's no way he'd even be being looked at as a potential signing.

As nice as it would be to have as many local lads as possible in the side, we shouldn't let that blind us to the fact he really isn't that good, especially not for the money that he will no doubt be after to come back.

Wouldnt touch Brown with a rubbish stick personally. Dont think hes the type of player we need at all, give me Robinson back first. Anyone from Hudds it would be Brough for 7 and they have a few good young centres Cudjoe Wardle and Lawrence all better than what we have in place for replacing Carmont IMO. Seems like Saints have signed Turner from Hull, dont know if we was in for him, if not why not?

He's going warrington. It's a done deal. His agent was at brook last week and confirmed it.

I hope that they have paid 200k for him.

No doubt Paul Yawn will be on hear during the week to tell us that they got him for 40 quid.

He didn't mention how much but can't see it being 200k.

He said saints was after a young Warrington backrow as well.

No
