He looks like a lad who needs a run of games to me. His start at Leeds looked a bit error riddled but he got better as he went along. I've seen a few Leeds fans saying (jokingly I presume) Wigan have called him back because we're scared of the improved Leeds form but realistically I think it's just that Wigan feel he'll get more games/minutes at Hull FC.
He definitely will, most of our forwards are currently injured, banned or have failed HIAs! Hopefully he can give us a bit of punch. He will also be squad number 52 which is absurd really.
With Chan and Eseh to Hull and no mention of Cooper we could be trouble if god forbid Thompson, Havard or Havard pick up an injury. I had high hopes of Eseh and was hoping that he could have leapfrogged over Mago to make the 17 on a pretty regular basis.
O don't think Chan is good enough for Wigan, I don't think full strength he'd get into Hull side this season and that's saying something, hasn't looked great in the games he has played so far for us

Bit of an “odd” signing Chan. Doesn’t seem big enough for prop and unsure if he can develop into a backrow forward. He seems to have loads of enthusiasm but that’s not enough to ensure a place in any SL team. I have high hopes (might be unfounded) on Eseh and I was really surprised when we sent on loan for the remainder of the season.
None of Eseh chan or Walters have done anything of note. Absolutely nothing. If all 3 left I don't think we'd notice
I'm not sure I've seen enough of them to make a judgement.
If nothing else, though, all three must now know they'll need to step it up to get selected regularly. I suppose it depend on how they respond to that challenge.
I’ve not seen the Leigh game but I felt Walters showed up well last week all be it he was only on the pitch for the final 20 mins vs Huddersfield.
He was good in his stint against Leigh too John. He's starting to look hard to handle and more like the player we thought we'd signed. We haven't seen the running lines that he showed latterly at Leeds but I'm sure that will come.
"I have this system where I support England first, then the other Home Nations, then the rest of the Commonwealth, then the rest of the World, then France."
Chan, Eseh and Walters are in different cases for me. Chan and Eseh are project signings. I don't think either of them were signed with the expectation of playing much for Wigan this year. They might make it, they might not. Walters, however, was definitely signed with this season very much in mind. Personally, I have been giving him the benefit of the doubt, as his pre-season was messed up and, as we saw with KPP last season, that can take a while to come back from. I do think Walters has shown improvement over the last three or four games, but he definitely needed to. He has been prone to errors and has not always looked like he's bringing the intensity he needs. And, as many of us have said, there is considerable doubt as to whether his future is in the back row or the front row. Right at this moment, he doesn't look to me as if he has quite the aggression needed for the front row, or the punch out wide for the back row. Certainly not compared to Nsemba, for example. But, he is improving, so I am hopeful that if he stays fit and keeps getting minutes he will continue to pick up. Next year, if he has the benefit of a proper pre-season, he may still be the player we hoped he would be. I would still like some more cover in the back row, though, with Faz getting older and Isa possibly on his way out. For Chan and Eseh, I am not too fussed. Hopefully, some more game time next season and then we should know if they have a long-term future with us, or whether they're in the Ramon Silva category.

I am fully in agreement with you Phuzzy. It was also noticeable that he played more minutes in the middle. Best performance yet.
