he`s like a freelance producer , seems to work for all channels , thats why i was surprised to see his name mentioned involved with josh charnley on zero tackle

He has fingers in many pies but he has been working for James Grant Group (sports agent) for about four years in their rugby department specialising in maximising off field activities for players. Now Joel Tomkins is in Rugby Union the only league players on his roster are Josh and Sam

Like it or not any Wigan player that is wanted by the NRL or Union will be leaving if that's what they want to do. It's been proven already that we will allow anybody to leave if they want to as long as the price is right.

I'd be stunned to see Josh Charnley at Wigan in 2015 tbh.

Totally agree. I think that is why we are investing time and money in both Burgess and Manfredi as I fully expect then to be our starting wingers sooner rather than later.

It's a really depressing scenario at the moment where we can't even hold out hope of retaining our young stars. How long can this player drain to the NRL go on before the RFL do something about it? They need to give our chairmen the leeway to pay our stars the money they are worth. If that means a few teams are a lot better than the rest then so be it, we already have that situation anyway. At least it would let us retain some of our best players and encourage investors like Koukash to come in, pump money into a club and make them competitive.

from next season homegrown players only count as a maximum of £100k towards cap so you could pay Charnley £1million if you wanted.

Its part of the new system. So theres no excuse for you (or us or Leeds) to keep losing our best to the NRL or even Union, unless its for the players own ambition.

I hadn't realised that, what rules and regs are in place? Would Hampshire count for example? He's from Normanton but signed for us at 16. What if we brought back Sam Tomkins, or does it become null and void once a player leaves?
