According to Wikipedia, 16.5st. Phil Clarke, the man who is incredibly bias towards Wigan, said it could have ripped his sock and I'm inclined to go along with that.

sorry you are wrong, fielden was mouthing off to griffin and horne when mason came from the side and hit fielden on the head, this is what then stared fielden off punching and it was then that griffin started punching to, check the replays!!

If you retaliate you get punished. No problem with that as far as I'm concerned. Mason ban is about right too. He's a coward an his action was pre-meditated. Pathetic.

The ban for Fielding is rather shocking, particularly in view of the point raised by the above post. Hudds coach Brown incited violence when he made the remarks.

Mason should have got 5. But I don't see sense from RFL these days.

I echo these sentiments.

Find it a farcical decision and hope Wigan appeal. He was assaulted twice - like BK says what on earth is he supposed to do?
