Why worry, it makes for a more competitive Superleague. I don't want any one club to dominate. Wigan will still be in the mix at the business end of the season. This is turning out to be the best Superleague for ages.
Correct. Both Wigan & Wire have had 'reality checks' over the last week or so. Who knows, at the end of the season we could look back and say that tonight's result kickstarted our season. Whilst I agree that tonight was very poor I must say I was shocked at some of the comments made by some of our supporters tonight when coming out of the ground tonight.

Yeah mate , it's just natural disappointment. I've been there done that.Wigan will bounce back and thrash somebody sure as eggs is eggs.
Piggy and Gleeson need replacing from outside the club, we have enough young homegrown players in the side at the moment and don't need anymore, remember the last time we had to many in the first team, it all went pear shaped
Agreed, that and we need to start playing people in the correct position. As well as getting Lima on the field and Fielden fit, the loss of Fielden has been massively underplayed so far.
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
The post before yours from jonh where he says play players in their best positions is no knee jerk its what a lot have been saying already this season.
Now we may disagree what those positions may be but I bet most are coming round to Finch 7, Sam 6 and TL 9 (interchanging with MM). Full back is a bit of an issue since Roberts seems out of favour but put the other player at 6 and 7 and 9 and FB is less of a worry.

Strange comment, seeing that Marsh, Carmont and McIlorum were amongst the very few that had good games.
Sorry Geoff Goulding was 100% at fault for two tires so no he did not have a good game based on that alone. He should have taken both kicks to his wing given he got hands to the ball on both occasions. It was a sure fire bet after he dropped the first one next time they would kick to him and they did and he obliged and dropped it again. There was no one within a yard for the first and while challenged for the second he got hands on it and fluffed it.
