People need to relax. He's enjoying (and rightly so) the moment. MOS winner and on the verge of competing for the GF in a team that's never got there previously or ever looked like getting there.
People forget only a few years back Jackson was kicked out of Manly, supposedly no players wanted to play with him; then he failed to get another NRL contract and ended up at a mid/bottom SL team.
He's helped changed his life around and the team which he plays for. It's a great achievement, one he should be happy about. Let him love his time at Salford and the moment. We should be clapping him along; he's a young man who's turned it all around.
And then we can welcome him with open arms for 2020.

I agree with everything here with one added point...
Salford, Blease, and Watson were also a massive part of maturing Hastings. Something he'll openly admit. Salford's turnaround isn't just down to one guy, as important as he is. Behind the scenes at Salford has changed massively over the last few years. Offering a successful place to rejuvenate careers rather than being a retirement home as we were in the past. Barring last year where we were very inconsistent, 2017 we finished 4th, the year before we would have been in the play-offs but for Koukash's cap breaking and subsequent points deduction. The signs have been there if you looked hard enough that we are going in the right direction. Hastings will be hard to replace, but players come and go, and I have full faith that Watson will rebuild the team and do well again next year. After all, this team was rebuilt in pre-season and we're in the GF.
I hope you treat him with the same love and respect that we do. Even if it doesn't go according to plan.
