Absolute disaster of a signing if it happens.
I just cannot fathom what is seen in him. Just another average player at Salford IMO.

He's just a beast of a Tongan in the same mould as Jeff Lima, Pacific islanders always go great at Wigan. He's got a great pedigree, played in multiple grand finals for Melbourne, just needs to be taught the 'Wigan Way' and he'd rip this league up

It appears as though Joe Mellor is on the way out then to Widnes. Along with Brett Finch to South Sydney. A brand new halfback partnership on its way for 2013? Danny Brough, Matty Smith, Lee Gaskell and Jamie Soward all in the mix as potential replacements.

Interesting times ahead.

Never really rated Soward had that good of a kicking game? I've not seen a lot of him up close (Aside from at the WCC at the DW). As said on another thread, Wigan are going to move Tomkins to 6 and Russell to FB and we'll just sign the 1 half back. Mellor is hopefully on his way out, just isnt "Wigan standard" for me im afraid, just another James Coyle et al.
