Yes there is, traditionally Wigans away kit was blue and most of the time was a replica design of the home shirt (normally hooped, but sometimes a V).

Look at how many people wernt wearing the mecca shirts in the past couple of years - sales must have been well down on prior seasons because of it, as I would say only approximately 20% of the normal matchday crowd were wearing them, with the rest wearing training gear/ older shirts etc, whereas usually you'd be looking at around 30-40% of the matchday crowd in the new shirt!

And that was with an almost decent wigan shirt only really spoiled by a sponsor. They wont sell more than 2000 (including the kids) if they stick with these IMO.

Not as traditional as the cherry and white hooped home shirt though is it? We've only had 6 blue and white stripey ones since 89 (source: bilkos brilliant site)
