Was Harris at Crusaders when Smith was there on loan in 09 ?
Just wondering how much previous these 2 have, and how much say IH had in the decision.

In regards to Matty Smith, He's a St Helens lad who's just turned them down to play for Wigan, For that alone the lad deserves our support and given the quality of our coaching and pack I reckon he'll be a cracking signing for us.

We NEED to keep Mossop, Id be looking for him to get an extended contract with some of the money freed up along with Charnley & McIllorum. We need to tie down our youngsters, Madge is obviously going to keep targetting them, its not a problem that will go away anytime soon I dont think.

He signed a 5 year deal last year, he doesnt need a new deal.

Sorry if already mentioned, but has anyone heard anything regards Mossop possibly joining Souths Next year?

Seemed to be the talk at Ade Gardner's testimonial on Friday night between the current Saints players.

No he wont be, he has just signed a 5 year deal and we should make him honour it. I am fed up of players signing long term deals and then looking for outs after 12 months.

Madge has robbed us of lima and the last thing we need is him taking mossop as well, unless we get sam and george burgess as a replacement
