Doubt Mossop would leave, would we really allow Souths to take 3 star players. Only been touched on on here but Rogues is linking us heavily with Rangi Chase on redvee, hope this doesn't happen!

We'd have to demand a transfer fee if Mossop were to leave. He's on a long term contract and we've invested time and money to help him develop into the player he is.

I wouldn't be remotely interested in Chase. I'm sure he'd do a job, any decent half back would playing behind our pack, but he's a running, not an organising half which is what we'd need if we've signed Smith and Finch were to leave. An over rated Aussie with a questionable attitude for me.

Mossop would command a £250,000 signing on fee.

Couldn't agree more. He loves being the centre of attention over at Cas, and deep down he knows he isn't good enough to move to a top class team.

Not a fan of Chase's but he looked very good in the Exiles match last year.
Playing with better players and against better players who made him play to something like his potential.
I thought that game proved he could be more than a big fish in a small pond.
If Finch does leave though I'd hope we could get better than Chase.

Would he get a new work permit though for a new employer?

Of course he's good enough to play for a top class (Super League) team.

His problem, besides being a thug, is that he plays completely off the cuff. You saw that yesterday with two solo effort tries and the obstruction penalty (because the forward thought he was getting the ball!).

He wouldn't fit in Wigan's system.

Sam Burgess is undoubtedly one of the best players in the game but he has spent so much time on the side lines the past 3/4 seasons.
