What comments?

Would like to keep Dudson if he can regularly play like he did on Saturday. He's still young, especially for a prop, and is one of our bigger more aggressive players and I think we need as many of these as we can get.

He mentioned how we may possibly have got our recruitment a bit wrong recently and that maybe we should have brought in bigger players. I went to Paul Prescotts testimonial WCC event and Wane spoke about the weight our pack gave up to the Roosters lads and as manful as guys like Micky Mac and Lockers are a 15-20kg deficit to somebody like Warea-Hargreaves takes it's toll.

As for Dudson I've been a critic but only because I believe he has talent and doesn't apply himself enough. I'd be loathed to let him go because he has potential.

Hull seem convinced Taylor is off there for next season stating family reasons and a homesick wife/girlfriend. Great shame if true.

This story seems to have more than one source as well. If it is true it raises a few issues

- All this talk about the NRL seems rather fanciful, if he is homesick for Hull for heavens sake
- How much ambition does he really have in the game?
- If he wants to play for England he's got some pretty stiff competition already without moving to Hull and looking to play for a team that on current form will be lucky to even make the 8 and will face possible relegation from next year when there will be no easy fixtures
- This 'family reasons' is becoming a joke. Allegedly she wants to be near home to start a family and be near schools. Do they know that kids don't go to school until age 4 - so why the rush?

Here's a solution Scott. Buy a nice flat in Manchester. Buy a fast car. Hull is only 75 minutes away. And given the amount a time a professional sportsman gets these days you can be home most days well before kiddies bath time.

Of course I could be doing him a disservice and this rumour could turn out to be wrong. I hope so because he is a good player, and he's come on leaps and bounds under Shaun Wane.

The Taylor one is a strange on even as Hull fan ( and it depressing for me to say this), but I can't see why Taylor would leave Wigan for Hull, he is young enough to have a few more years at Wigan then in 3/4 years move back to Hull.

However there seems to be some strong rumours coming from a few people, he has a 3rd year option, you have to wonder why the club haven't announced he has taken it.

Saying this, knowing Wane and the Wigan production line you will no doubt have a ready made replacement ready.

Two other players we have been linked tow are Green and thomas leuluai, I think there is some truth in the latter one.

I'd be interested in your opinion of TL as a 7, I don't think he is exactly what we need, but 100 times better than we have at halfback.

Tommy is absolute class at 7 or 9. The only thing he lacks is a consistent kicking game - he has everything else. He has also made a decent fist of 13 for NZW. I'd be gutted if he came back to Super League and didn't rejoin us. He's been injured quite a lot of the last 2 seasons. When he played for us until he broke his leg in the Exiles game he was pretty much ever present.

So I'm not sure of his fitness. I've watched all of NZWs games this season and he's only played about 3 times. When he does he's the only one who gives them some structure and organisation in the backs, because Shaun Johnson is totally off-the-cuff - brilliant one minute and useless the next.

Tommy is the only one who passes to Sam as the other half back Chad Townsend is mostly a runner too. Not sure why they would release Tommy or why he would want to leave unless his wife wants to come back to England (others on here might know better).

It is plausible that the NRL was his ambition. If he is put in a position where after moving away his wife/Girlfriend is unhappy and wants to move back to family and friends he is put in a position where he has to choose between career and family. I know which I'd choose every time. I know full well what it takes to move away from family and friends and would fully sympathise with anyone who is unhappy in that situation.

Hopefully it's all bull anyway

Frankly if I was Taylor I'd say lump it or leave.

Days out at Wembley and OT are few and far between and can't be bought. After that if he's got ambitions to be an international then Wigan is the place to be.
