Out of that list i'd look at

Sam Moa
Gareth O'Brien (hasnt he signed a new deal?)
Josh Griffin

If money wasnt an issue i'd look at Joel Moon at salford.

Forgot to add to my Chase/Moa post, I was also told we made a play for Rob Burrow, as far as meetings taking place. In the end he decided to stay with Leeds though.

Daryl Millard, Adrian Morley, Gareth O'Brian (I'd really try and sign this kid)

Griffin and Adam Walker could be suprise packages.

Contracted players I'd want - Lomax, Gaskell, Taylor (HKR), Moon, Patrick, Clark, Sarginson, Eden.

Chase is a good off the cuff player but I don't know what he is like in the dressing room, if he's a plonker then I'd rather sign a young lad like Gaskell or O'Brien and an experienced half to throw in from time to time.

I don't automatically think it's a case of signing young British talent who aren't proven, but a case of signing proven UK talent to improve the squad.
IMO for example; Briscoe is proven, still young but not inexperienced. Sooner sign him than an Oz talent.

There's not a chance in hell Wire won't sign O'Brien up.

I don't see the point in Wigan making an effort to sign O'Brien from Wire. Sam Powell, if he's not as good, is at least not that far behind O'Brien in terms of ability. They made a fantastic halfback pairing for the England Academy back in 2010 and were probably the biggest difference between the two sides when England played the AIS. Powell has as much potential as any young fullback around so if Wigan want a young'un then we've already got one!

I'd be willing to give Hall from KR a contract for a couple of years. Has really stepped up to the mark this year and looks a handy back to have for cover.

I'm undecided on Moa, is he not just another Lauaki?

Millard is also worth looking at.

Is it just me that would love Broughton from Salford? He is looking like a top player in a mid-table team. I honestly think he could score more than Charnley in our team. The guy is in top form. Would like to see him replace Pat if possible. A wing partnership of Charnley and Broughton. With Thornley and Goulding in the centres, our outside backs would be settled for years to come.

He looks like a real athlete and would thrive at Wigan under the guidance of Mark Bitcon and with the opportunity to see more ball as part of a try scoring chance than he will at the Reds.

He is still only 24 and we could get him before he hits his prime.
