A few months back Rugby League World had a feature and interview on Chase focusing on his background and childhood especially his relationship with Wellar Hauraki and his family. It was a tale of extreme hardship and a person with a will to acheive and improve himself. Chase came across very well and appeared very committed to a future based in the UK.

Was that before or after he broke someone's jaw with a cowardly attack?

I know how the club works on these things these days but rumours like Finch leaving or M Smith signing tend have a lot of weight put behind them a month or so before they happen by posters on here.

We have 350-odd pages on new signings and recently the only hard rumour people will nail their colours to the mast to support as one likely to happen is M Smith.

The rest of it seems wishful thinking or just banding names about rather then actual rumours. There is a difference and at the moment apart form M Smith there does not seem to be an obvious target on the horizon that comes close to a rumour we have signed him.

I can't help thing of the last two outstanding half backs (who were allegedly Wigan class and Current GB Internationals) and the way they both turned out for us; Tony Smith and Danny Orr.

They both turned out to be pretty average.

Soward all the way over chase for me (plus Matty Smith)...

When was the last time anyone paid a fee for an import? Most imports are out of contract when they come here. I can't remember the last one who wasn't unless they had been sacked!

Exactly, i dont want this thug anywhere near our young lads. Bad influence and i dont think he fits into Wanes "quarterback" style half-back play.

Pick out which comment is not correct? All I said is that his kicking game is just as good as what we have now and that he is quicker than our current 6 and 7. What is so outrageous about that?
