Fwiw I agree but Tuson is OOC this season thus it would happen.

No way Wigan will re sign him just to swap him a few weeks later.

Its very unlucky guys like Mellor, Tuson, Marsh and Fielden are off contract now as they'd be perfect options for make weights in this type of deal.

We simply don't have the players to offer as a makeweight as the ones under contract are all important members of the squad or very promising youngsters. We've done well recently because we now have a squad rather then just a team and we need o stick to that policy.

I can't see any other way then us offering cash only tbh and I don't think Lenagan will offer enough.

Wanes ethos has been one of attacking and exciting rugby and anybody who thinks Chase wouldn't fit is in my opinion wrong. The man is electric in a poor side and showed his worth in a good side in last years exiles match. Bring it on I say!!

People talking of a Dennis Moran MKII are way off imo. Deadly Dennis was a support player only who had full licence to try ridiculous things with ball in hand even if it was the first tackle whilst at the Bronco's.

On the other hand Chase is a creator and a provider of trys for others. He comes up with assist after assist through a lovely range of passing and some excellent decision making. He puts an element of doubt in defenders minds because he can also take on the line and beat a man. He has a good short kicking game but we'd need to look at others doing the vast majority of the kicking from distance.

The lad can really play but will be too tough to get away from Cas I feel....sadly IMO.

I think he would have been OOC at the end of this season had he not signed his new deal.

Silly on his part IMO unless he got some sort of clause inserted
