I was chatting to him directly and he certainly hadn't been drinking coke. Nothing wrong with it I just think he let too many of his opinions out due to the drink

Out of contract Brett Stewart has been offered a huge contract by London Irish of £545,000 a year, with apparently 2 super league clubs along with various french union teams weighing up a move. Unfortunately there's probably more chance of seeing Alf Stewart playing in SL than Glenn or Brett. Infact he fits the bill perfectly been an ageing aussie, would bring wires average age down abit if he signed for them too.

I agree Glenn Stewart is one of the best back rowers in the game at the moment and I'm gutted he's going to miss Origin 3.

Fullbacks and backrowers aren't needed. We have some of the best players in the world in those positions already.

Halfbacks, centre or props.....they're what we could do with!

He's the better of the two defiantly.

Thing is though, do you rate him above Lockers?

I dont and i cant quite understand the hyperbole surrounding him.

Seems to me that Phil Gould rates a player then that automatically promotes him to world class status.
