Daft thing is I wish we were playing Saturday. A pre match pint, game done by 3pm and another dozen or so after the game (hopefully) celebrating a Grand Final place? Carlsberg Saturday that!
And just to add for the benefit of Jukesays who thinks I try and pretend to be a nice guy but overall I'm Dr evil, what you will find is that I am balanced.
So for example I commented on the Farrell thread that his injury is a blow to England. I've defended Adrian Lam for being without French and Field all last season. I've admitted (begrudgingly) that Wigan are a bigger club than Saints.
I've also commented on the quality of your scholarship, academy and Reserves. These are just examples off the top of my head.
However I will never not mock the fact that the biggest club in SL don't have their own ground. Imagine if Sky had chosen our game and trying to explain to a non RL fan why the biggest name in SL are having to play their home game away from home. They'd laugh.
So to conclude I will always have a pop at Wigan for that until the time is that they have their own stadium. Doesn't mean I can't be respectful at other times on other threads.
Who said Dr Evil? Who said being biased is a bad thing?
I didn't, embrace it, but don't pretend it doesn't exist (and in this last post you've admitted that your going to "Mock" us when you can). That's fine, but people can see through it, especially when your way off the mark on something but defending it because it's Saints or attacking it because its Wigan.

Lucky Saints fans.
Our crowd would have been higher Latics were ready to switch to Sunday Hospitality would have been through the roof Faz would have had 1 more day recovery time and that would be the difference in him playing or not We're 100% record playing on a Saturday this year, bloody sky know we have lost games on a Friday!
I never once said it was a conspiracy against Saints.
You said Sky are doing the RFL a favour and as a result Saints are being penalised. Much the same thing Stu but if you're insistent on being pedantic then, no, you didn't specifically say the word conspiracy.
So what would you call your not being given the date you were never given in the first place and the way that it's penalised you because Sky are in cahoots with the RFL?
I can understand that you won't say you were wrong? Is that a good enough reply?
Okay going around in circles here so I'll try and simplify it.
In my opinion I feel that if there were no issues with the stadium selection then we would have played Friday. I could be completetely wrong, I'm giving my opinion.
In my opinion Saints lose out with a perceived reduced crowd on a Saturday compared to Friday. You and others disagree with my points and that's fine. Doesn't make either opinion right or wrong.

Probably answered by my post above. I don't think any brown envelopes have been passed to Sky nor do I think its an anti-Saints tactic.
As I've said in my opinion the stadium issue has led to this and that's not our fault nor any other team that may have finished top.

So basically you're saying a situation that's been in existence for over 20 years and that everyone knows is in existence, so not a surprise to anyone, is a minor inconvenience to Saints?
Bl00dy Hell! I'm not surprised RedVomit is in meltdown!
The Super League Grand Final winners in 2021, 2020, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 & 2013 (2019 didn't have Semi Finals) all came from the second semi final with less rest than opponents. So recent history suggests its a favour your arguing against.

Interesting that the league leaders don't often win the grand final, only once in the last 6 years. The last team to do it before Saints in 2019 was Leeds in 2015. Which was also the last time the league leaders didn't play in the first semi final. Wigan played on the Thursday night that year with Leeds on the Friday! Maybe it is a conspiracy!
