I agree. I cant see us signing a centre unless a top class one becomes available for a year at a good price (which is unlikely)

cant see anything on the saracens forum, and their coach has been bigging him up recently.

One day I think Joel will come back but not yet. He didn't get many first team games last year but I think they were just bedding him in to the game before putting him in the first team full time.

It does take some time to kill a persons creative ability and adventure to try and score try's so I can understand the move.

we have to remember that Joel is their Gelling.
He's raw, signed a long-term deal and was never anticipated to do more than learn the game for a season. Therefore judgement should be reserved until the end of year 2. From Joel's perspective he also knows its a long slog, and if he wants to get an England cap he's got to start from the bottom. It will take time, especially as he is a convert in both code and position.
I'd be very surprised if either party were giving up on it after such a short time

I got told last week the whole Farrell leaving was due to people at the club not listening to him and he wanted Joel to play 1st team full time

I dont read about union or watch it so no idea if any of this is true

On yesterdays showing a big, tough enforcer prop is a must. Our pack is still too lightweight.

Agreed, but not many about in SL and will struggle to get one from the NRL!!
