The HKR fans reckon they're getting Tuson as part of the deal.

I'm all for the signing of Green but I'd like to see us keep Tuson. He's a cracking squad player and there's no way we'll keep our consistancy without having good depth especially in the forwards.

Don't know how that could be true as he's OOC isn't he?

They might have agreed a separate contact with him but Wigan couldn't offer him as part of any deal was we don't hold a contract with him for 2013.

How much do you think we paid? If we paid 30k for Smith with less than half a season on his contract you'd assume it's significantly more for a player with 2 seasons left on his current deal?

Wouldn't mind getting Taylor from them as well.

The HKR fans were saying we have an option on Tuson for 2013 but I honestly don't know. In terms of what we've paid for him I can't see it being massive. They've openly stated they want to reduce the wage bill and seem to be targeting some other players so I'd guess around 50k.

I agree totally that we should move for Scott Taylor. He looks a real talent and if he's up for grabs I'd hope were in for him.

From Leuluai & Finch to Smith & Green. If this is a sign of things to come with the NRL cap going up and work visas harder to obtain, then SL is not going to be pretty viewing.

Very True, another mediocre signing on the back of Lauaki. Much rather we gave the young halves a chance than sign an average Aussie.

I think the big miss was not getting Stefan Ratchford. He covers Stand off, Full Back and Centre impressively and he's a Wigan lad as well. Add to that Trent Waterhouse + Chris Hill and Warrington's recruitment has been much better than Wigan's in the last year.
