The way the Brits are improving in the NRL just shows that we can match it with the best in the world if you create the right environment. Aussie coaching English lads the NRL in my opinion is the only way these lads will ever reach their potential and the only way we will get close to the Australians at International level.

We need to accept we are now a feeder league and enjoy watching these players whilst we have them, and continue to enjoy watching them develop in our system until they are deemed good enough for a shot at the best rugby comp in the world.

Yep. Sign up to Premier Sports and watch them every week. Tbh I've given up grieving over something that we are powerless to overcome.

We are powerless to stop it happening so it's a win win because we get a better International team and we also get to see another quality young product of the club replace him, until he is deemed good enough for an NRL contract.

It isn't and it would be a blow to lose Burgess but I also rate Manfredi highly. He's scored 12 try's in 15 games to date which is a great record and he'll end up being one of the better wingers in superleague IMO.

We're lucky in a way but it still frustrates me to watch such a young kid walk away.

If Burgess leaves, very risky decision for me. At least stay for another 3-4 years and establish yourself before throwing yourself into a competition like that.
