Tomkins is a 100% Wigan now though, he will always have a soft spot for us I guess. We all know as fans it's hard to let go.

Why the notion of Sam going to Wire barely needs discussing there is a second issue, the maturity and level of down right rudeness on this board can clearly be offensive.

By definition this is a 'rumours and signings' section VectaBeast simply stated something he'd heard aka; a rumour. So if people don't like the point made, at least have some self respect and dignity and conduct yourself without being a total imbecile.

At times it's embarrassing to read some of the 'Wigan fans' posts on here, they obviously have nothing better to do than argue and try to belittle other people, its pathetic.

It's about time people had a bit more about themselves than to act in such a manner. And no I won't 'lighten up' as it happens far too often.

Yeah but you can not speculate on Sam Tomkins on a rumour thread that will cause mass hysteria on here. They were right to take vectrabeast down and tbh they should have found where he lived and shot him on site for daring to put a rumour on a rumour thread. Only joking but thats the mentality you see here at times.

I did think this forum had started to settle down much less cross forums trolling etc but its been replaced by Wigan Trolls on Wigan forums.

I fully agree with you that the comments towards Vectrabeast (a respected poster on here who has contributed to the forum very well over the years) were unnacceptable and had been made from "Smalls" and "Sweaty Betty's" both of which have a few hundred posts between them and contribute little.

However, your argument about "People have the right to chat and discuss rugby, but no one has the right to name call etc." would have held a little more water if you hadn't just written this.......

totally agree.

i cringe when I see new users or users who have few posts getting belittled. Whilst im aware trolls often can be behind such things, often they come on here and ask a question or something similarly innocent and get their heads bitten off.

when its like that this board is what I imagine it must be like talking to the comic book guy off the simpsons about star trek and getting it wrong.

Like I say, just my opinion and it's the last I will say on the matter.

That was in defence. I don't know if you remember the amount of abuse I took over my opinion on a Wigan player. In total it was around 15 pages of abuse. I agree, but that was an extreme.
