If its too late to get another design, and this was the worst case scenario I would be quite happy with this. Much happier than with the new shirts.
The club could knock out the new sponsor as an iron on for those who wanted it for say 6 or 7 quid, and then bring a couple of classic retro jerseys in the season which should be enough to replace the revenue what this shirt would sell......as lets face it, they aint gonna sell many of the effort we've been given.
One other option, which would give us more time. Dont put these on sale, play in last years jersey until the middle of the season and bring out a 2011-12 kit mid season in june, for the remaining half of the '11 season and the '12 season?
Would give us enough time to get it designed and made. I mean they dont even need to design one, just take one of the mock ups on here and make it a shirt. There have been dozens of shirts amateur designers have placed on here far far better than this or any shirt we've had since the adidas 2000 shirt!! I mean HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO DESIGN A WIGAN RL SHIRT FFS!!
