If you are expecting Whelan to subbie us from his own pockets then why should he? His comments about being a self sustaining club were (I don't like saying this) spot on. If a business is not capable of looking after itself without some millionaire benefactor constantly bailing them out then they are not a viable business and will be shut down. Is that what you want?
He's trying to find a solution for us to remain at this level and be viable. If it doesn't work then don't moan because without him our natural level would be 2nd, 3rd, conference.
At least someone understands where their natural level is.

Just been talking to the same lad on Facebook for the first time since the last time I saw him last weekend and he told me that he’s going to the gym for the first time. Is he trying to offer a bit of gym toilet cottaging here?
