True enough.

I said it a bit tongue in cheek but the guy had a good rep before coming to Wigan and looked very comfortable today. I'd certainly be interested to see how he could go in the first team here but highly doubt we'll ever find out.

I think most people hoped he could emulate the likes of Hill and Walmsley but that doesn't look likely,not at Wigan anyway.Rumours of being a poor trainer and bad diet have been mentioned as to why Wane hasn't given him a go.Can anyone confirm these rumours?or know why he's not been given a chance?

Please can they not take turnstile a year earlier, would be happy with ratchford for Hampshire as IMO he is seriously overrated

I lost count of the number of times wigan fans told me that about T Makinson at the start of the year ...

Nor does it explain why warrington would agree to a silly deal (everyone knows hampshire won't sign a new deal with wigan while Wane refuses to give him a chance at 6, he'll be a free transfer next year, hardly any sort of transfer fee ...)

Nor does it explain why wigan would want Ratchford, given Sam is back at full back and Williams should be your 6 for years to come so where'd he play?
