Some dodgy calls by the ref for both teams to be fair.

TP should never have been sent off for that challenge nowt wrong with it and it shouldn't have even been a penalty in which they had that disallowed score which if being honest should have been given.

Have to say this is rugby for God's sake's not tiddlywinks,get a grip officials.

Talking of your nice new shiny Stadium when is it being finished?? its just that you get soaked when it rains because their isnt any cladding to stop the rain......

Yeah well said Cj,because the ref giving a penalty for that little runt Hohaia which saints scored and the forward pass off meli's try Catalans would of won,Blanch being penalised for trying to play the ball with Hohaia on his back.. true teams benefit from bad officiating and lets be honest Saints have their fair share... And what should TP of received then(A pat on the back)Rules are contact with the head is a No No.....

Sadly for Wigan, it only takes one game to stop Wigan. Not my rules, and not my prefered method for becoming champions, but Saints could lose 3 times to Wigan and still win SL without playing Wigan in the playoffs.

Hence the squeaky bum comment, the entire season boils down to a home advantage and a 2nd chance. But if Wigan have an offday again, like they did against Leeds or like they did against us in the playoffs last year then it's anyones.

yea but to win super league you have to win the grand final , and we know what saints are like in the grand final !!

Could not agree more. This is my fear, I think the nothing to lose attitude is a big advantage. Warrington were the best team lady year and bottled it when it really mattered I get the feeling the same could happen to us and what makes it worse is it's plain to see we are the best rugby team in the country.

We have enough experience when it counts. Lets not forget we've won 2 trophies in 2 years, this is no fluke. We were caught cold in a knockout game for the first time since 2010, It won't happen again.

All the players know how to win, whether it be from past success [GF and CC] or from the u20s who have been all conquering for the last 5 years, these players know how to win games.

If I was Wigan, I would fancy my chances for the GF/ It is no coincidence, since the break up of the duopoly of GF contestants that the CC winners have not registered a GF win.

Very true that you're the best team in the country on a game-in, game-out basis by a mile right now. If the trophies were decided on anything like a sane, fair or reasonable basis then you'd be worthy champions again this year. Sadly they're not, and unfortunately I think Leeds, Warrington and Saints have the ability to rise to a slightly higher level than you're capable of for those one-off crunch games come the playoffs. You're still probably favourites to win the GF, but only very, very marginally and I wouldn't bet against another Saints/Leeds final at this stage. I can't think of anything worse than that to be honest
