Ratchford is all class. If he is available and wants to come to Wigan and we have the means to do so we would be crazy not to sign him.

He would give cover across the entire back line and probably also push for a start in every position across the back line apart from the wings and as others have said I also think he could turn into a very very good ball handling 13.

Ratchford moved a couple of houses down from me a few weeks back, first time I'd seen/spoken to him in a long time.

From a Wigan fan's point of view, I would say it's good news for later this year, enough said on that.

If he's available, then signing Ratchford would be an absolute no-brainer. He's Wire's best player and they'd be crazy to let him leave.

Bridge is decent enough but blows a bit hot and cold for me and seems injury prone. If Sarge did leave then he'd be a decent stop-gap until Gildart is ready I guess. Thornley could well be finished so no point bothering taking him into account at this point in time.

Bridge would suit Wigan down to the ground. If he signed I'd be quite happy with it.

Can't see us signing Ratchford, much as I'd like it. How often do you see starting players switch between two top SL clubs when they are wanted at both? Can't think of any vaguely recent examples tbh
