I have asked recently and Hampshire hasn't signed for Saints as far as I'm aware...

I'm fairly certain we would have tried to sign Sam Tomkins regardless of what happens with Ryan Hampshire. Why would we let Hampshire go to Saints when he is under contract? Why would Saints sign him when they have just signed Burns to play 6 and he's looked very shaky at 1? It makes no sense, a load of rubbish methinks. Particularly as the exact same rumour was flying about last year and came to nothing.

Sam Tomkins was bought to lessen the blow of losing Hampshire plus we've also got Ratchford on top.

Christ! Hampshire must have been genetically created using the DNA of Wally Lewis, Andrew Johns, Jonathan Thurston, Ellery Hanley and Alex Murphy!!

Doesn't make sense.
Saints have just announced Walsh has re-signed taking up his 3rd year option.
Why would Hampshire be going from Wigan to Saints where he won't get into the first 17 there either?

After the Sean Long lesson the Wigan club and BOD would have to be out of their minds to allow Hampshire to go to Saints.
Barking Mad wouldn't come close!

I can't believe how overrated Hampshire is, the lads done nothing in the first team, yes he was a very good academy player but as we have seen over the years that doesn't automatically make him a ver good first teamer. Ratchford is a considerable improvement over ryan IMO

You've got to laugh, haven't you? There's another gem posted somewhere about Ratchford being a stop gap until Gildart is ready! All of this unwarranted praise just puts more pressure on the individuals concerned.

Sam is being brought back to lessen the blow of what is going to happen at the end of the season, Hampshire is just the tip of the iceberg

I must admit Tiger you are ruddy mustard with these little teasers you keep setting, I have suddenly realised what you mean with what is going to happen at the end of the season.
I am starting to think that your comments are connected to the Wigan to London thread and that IL is going to invoke his right as owner of the Club and move the whole Wigan Franchise to London.
Either that or what that bloke who used to carry that sandwich board in the 50s/60s and 70s which said that the end of the world is nigh is finally right.
