I bet the man that did that finished it about 3 minutes after getting off the phone, then sat down doing feck all for weeks.
Some other guy made up some Bull s--t pretentious marketing story about what it 'represents'.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

WIGAN RLFC - STILL MAKING HISTORY

That is a properly smart shirt that i'd have no probs wearing with pride.
And, oh look........Its Cherry n WHITE!
Makes you wonder just what on earth Kooga's designers were thinking of?
And even worse, whoever at the club said 'Hmm...Yeah, love the washed-out look. Very revolutionary. We'll have that!' :DRUNK:

Somebody should make sure that the club see this design, and take note.

The 18th Man will be dropped this season on the basis he will not wear the new shirt !

If your going to hold IL in that sort of light then he is basically going to have to take the flak that comes with it.

The foresight to change the coach and change the way the club is run has paid dividends after one year, but one of the biggest money spinners for the club is its replica shirts sales and on this basis your messiah has scored a massive own goal.

I think Kooga's designers are getting a hard time here. As a designer myself I'd imagine their design process is similar to the one I'd go through with clients. They'll be given a brief which they will have adhered to. They'll present their ideas to IL and Simon Collinson who'll then give them feedback and they'll come up with a finalised design together. Kooga haven't signed this kit off, the club have. It's the clubs design not Kooga's.

It looks like the club have asked for a break in tradition. I have no problem with this idea at all. The design that the club has gone for isn't to everyone's taste unfortunately.

At the end of the day people will buy a polo for £20 or a retro shirt for £30 rather than a new shirt for £45.

The club would do well to get some more retro shirts in stock sooner rather than later. If I can get them turned around in 6 weeks then I'm sure the club can get a few hundred sorted for the new year.

I just hope that the constructive criticism on this forum will be taken on board.

The club will more than likely summerise the success of the kit design by how many sales it makes but the club are very fortunate to have supporters who will buy the latest kit regardless if they like the design or not, so using sales is not a very good indication of supporters opinions of the design.

I hope next years kit design will have more input from the supporters.

Oh, and a supplier who is apparently focused on getting the Wigan contract for next year is Canterbury of New Zealand.

'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.'

Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.

Still looks bobbins out of focus!

I suspect I'm in a minority but I would have loved an update of the shirt we played in against Warrington in Milwaukee. We also played in a white V against Saints in '66?
