Not true at all about him being poor, he has been good without being great and was close to making his NRL debut until Parramatta were found to be over the salary cap.

I would recommend all young English players steer clear of being coached by Lee Radford. Crooks, Lineham and Shaul have already been victims with more to come.

We need a new centre who can tackle one on one. Some of Sarge's defence this season has been nothing short of pathetic. It seemed to be masked a little last season with his strong attacking performances but sadly that has disappeared.

A shadow of the player who shone for England. I hope he can re-capture his form for the end of the season.

The same tom lineham and Jamie shaul who were given their opportunities in the first team thanks to radford. I'm not his biggest fan but he pursuaded gentle to play them instead of signing players like youngquest

Don't get me wrong: I really rate Taupau, certainly much more than I ever did Masoe, but there's been a few big NRL forwards come here who, if the SL is as soft as some claim, would just walk through defences with defenders hanging off them, Lesley Vainikolo or Inga Tuigamala style. And that has signally failed to happen.

But yes, of course i'd love to see MT at the DW; the fans would love him. No chance of it happening, though.

Ratchford has never massively convinced me and so far this Challenge Cup Qf is doing nothing to suggest he would be a great buy for us

I do think Ratchford is extremely talented but there is a sense of more sizzle than steak about him.

He's a decent Super League player but he wouldn't be cheap, so I'm not sure we should bother
