I think if you generally look at spending 200k on a teenage scrum half if would be a risk, but in mylers case he's performed for two years now in the first team, and still looks a class above his teammates. He's got enough first team experience now for it to be a much reduced risk!

Dobsons onfield displays were superb but just the lift that having Fielden in the team gave the rest of the players was invaluble imo.

They followed his lead.

From an outsider looking in, I thought Rads playing for nothing lifted the team, the club and the town more than anything else.

Seems some of the main targets for next year have now been ruled out.

We identified 2/3 players for next year and the year after according to IL tonight on GMR.

Back to the drawing board chaps.

2 bad games doesn't make him a bad player.

What your forgetting is that he is 19years old and is quite obviously the 'main player' at Salford who they look too to create something special, the one that the club wants to build around. Not only that but he is being touted as a future global superstar, the next GB half-back, a tag which many before him couldn't handle the pressure of.

If you ask me - that's an awful lot of pressure put onto this young man's shoulders and he has handled it fantastically well. If there was one reason alone to sign him, IMO the way he handles high pressure situations would be one for me.
