Thornleys biggest failing is his lack of aggression. He should be trampling all over people with the size of him but he just seems a bit nice. He isn't the greatest at putting his winger away either but if he played with that bit more aggression that would become easier because he'd create more space for himself.

It's interesting to speculate how many clubs seem to be operating under the cap. This latest signing by Widnes, the couple made by Saints (Wello's "retirement" against the spirit of the cap?) plus - I believe - HKR have replaced Campese show that these three at least started the season under the cap and I'm sure there are others. Given how the cap has been eroded in real terms over the years I am surprised that some clubs seem to be able to build their squads with cap space to spare. Is this contributory to the likes of Josh Jones joining Exeter Chiefs, I wonder?

I assume you mean the best centre Hull KR have had in the Super League era rather than the best centre of the Super League era? I wouldn't have him in the top 10 centres of the Super League era

David Taylor (Gold Coast Titans) been given permission to negotiate with SL clubs. He's still only 27. Can't say he's not big enough (close to 19 stone), but certainly hasn't displayed the promise he showed playing in the centres at Souths. Might cause mayhem running at SL centres and half backs. Somebody will take a punt on him.

Taylor would sort our pack out in 1 go. Huge with pace and brilliant hands.

Rumour a while ago he had however decided to talk to Japanese Union clubs over Salford and Wigan.

He really doesn't though seem to be the type of player we would be looking to sign sadly and seems much more Salfords style of signing.

Taylor isn't really the kind of NRL signing I'd like us to make; I'd rather we bought a 'proper' prop, IYKWIM. That said, he'd be a much better buy, and offer a lot more, than Mose Masoe. And he is one of those players whose style would suit SL, I believe.
