Tommy is back in town. Heard last week he will take up a player and assistant coach contract from next season. Would be an exdllent bench 9 giving Competition for places to micky mac and a powell

I was told about this the other week but at the time it wasn't certain that he would also be playing. Has he passed any sort of medical?

The club have just put a photo of him at the match tonight onto twitter. I'd say thats a good indication he's returning.

He always was a much better 9 than he was 7 anyway.

If he's coach and the reserve grade is being re-introduced with "x" number of over age players then he could provide real coaching ability.
An emergency 9 really, Powell has stood up these last few weeks and will be better next year.
