Well I for one have given it a few days, and it just gets worse every time I look at it. Just awful. Yes I know results on the field are more important but that kit is vile. It's an embarrassment. It looks like a one-off charity shirt brought out to support breast cancer, designed by a local school for hard-up kids. I'm truly gutted.
Seriously, Wigan and IL need to take a real look at the reactions on here and other forums, and just bin it. Unfortunately I fear as they've signed it off they've 'ok'd' it with Kooga, who will simply say "you agreed to it, not our problem".
But on the flip side, surely an admission the design has proved massively unpopular, followed by a quick re-design along the lines of a few suggestion on here would result in boosted sales, benefiting Wigan and Kooga? At the moment this is looking to be the poorest selling and least popular Wigan shirt ever.
PLEASE MR LENEGAN, TAKE ACTION NOW. YOUR WONDERFUL CLUB DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE SEEN IN THAT EFFORT.
