Here's the thing, you're the one who's been crying and trying to get Wigan fans to buy into the fib that Saints pulled off the greatest sporting achievement known to man.

Like I said a few weeks ago, the lady doth protest too much, methinks. Add in the obviously salty attitude around our win and it's lovely.

World Champions again, 5* on the badge and a win Vs a far superior side to both Wigan and the one the self proclaimed "greatest sporting side in the history of the world" played last year.

So there you go. You’re a happy man. You don’t need me to tell you well done so really not sure why you’re reacting so childishly about it.

And a far superior side without Crichton and Luai playing away from home :D

I’ll give you that Edward’s was missing

I’ll have a pint of what you’re on

As I’ve said the only reason I’ve come on is because it was intimated I had gone missing. So I’ve given my thoughts. Quite why you are seeking my validation I’ve no idea. It’s in the history books as a Wigan win despite the controversy.

What I find nauseating now is the comments that Peet is coming out with. I was a big supporter of him initially, a talented young English coach who spoke the truth.

However now it seems that only his players are mates with each other, only his club does community work, only Wigan players are in the trenches with each other. It’s as though no other SL club has a winning culture and it’s starting to grate.

It actually suits in a way as we are flying hugely under the radar. There was even a poster on here that said HKR will win a Grand Final before we do again.

I just hope we can make the play offs based on that.

Wowzers Stu, you’re better than that. Peet hasn’t said Wigan are the only club doing those things has he?! The only thing that has changed your opinion on Peet are the shiny things he’s taken from the E Cig Stadium and brought over to Wigan. He’s the exact same bloke apart from that.

100% spot on
He hasn't said any such thing, certain people opinions of Peet will have changed due to results that's all.

Well I’m not spending all night fighting a losing battle but at least you can’t accuse me of going missing now even if you don’t like what I say.

I was never going to come on last night with emotions running high.

It’s to be expected I suppose. He talked constantly at the start of last year about the same things but he only had the Challenge cup in his possession then. He even said the same things once the cup had gone and we had nothing left and he says the same things now when he has 3 of the 4 trophies at the training ground. His manner is exemplary and Stu might well be the first person I’ve seen question it tbh. Even a huge Saints troll on Twitter said he was pleased for Peet last night.

Honestly, deep down what response did you expect? I’ve not seen a single post on this forum from any other opposition fan that didn’t offer some sort of well done. It may not be intended and you normally come across as a reasoned sensible poster but recently you are coming across as bitter and jealous.

I don’t care who thinks what achievement is better. Any win over an Australian side is worth bragging about. RL is the number 1 sport down there, they have a bigger talent pool and significantly more funds.

The Wardle try - 100% the ball touched the line, it would be very easy to take a clip or a still to suit an agenda. The real debate is whether it was a double movement or not (incidentally this is what most of the Australians are discussing). Being honest I think we got the run of the green there but there is an argument to say the defenders helped him over the line.

The no try at the end - Correct decision under the rules, VR had no choice as it was sent up as a no try. If it was sent up as a try it would have been given as there was no real evidence either way. If we are going to force the ref to guess then as a sport we have to accept sometimes he will guess. Fields arms we’re certainly under the ball so it was not an unreasonable decision.

I don’t understand the opinion that Wardle doesn’t get it to the line. He absolutely does but the question mark is if it’s a double movement or not to get it there. He drags it in towards him but the try happened right in front of us and the ref sent it up as a try because his view is initially blocked and he runs around the bodies and can then see it is on the line at that point. Hand on heart, I wouldn’t be happy if that was given against us but all this talk of him not getting it on the line at all is wrong.

100% all the social media stills are from when he gets pushed back.

He absolutely gets it to the line and there’s a fair chance the tip of the ball was touching a blade of grass.

The bitterness is amazing, just shows the level Wigan are at. The jealousy is insane.

The same people saying he didn’t get it to the line are saying they could see May did get the ball down in that last second incident  (there is literally no camera angle in existence that showed that).

It’s been heart warming reading all the bitterness today, it really has. I am a bit disappointed that Robbie Rich Wolf Curry Mon hasn’t been on with his congratulations though.
