So I can't see what you ate getting at?

Coley vs Bailey is a no brainer and it's never going 2 be Bailey IMO.

From what I hear from the younger players at the club, Bailey would be a huge miss. Player's opinions matter more to me than fans, no offence.

Fair enough.

All I can go off is what i see on the pitch and IMO Bailey isn't as good as Coley!

Sooner rather than later these young players are going to have 2 become the leaders at Wigan!

It's not like we've not got older heads/experience at the club;

Lockers
Gleeson
Carmont
Richards
Tommy

Those two defeats were our heaviest defeats of the season. They were the ONLY two games Coley played second row.

You are correct , Coley or Bailey in the second row is a no brainer.

Bailey by miles.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot

Surely tough decisions must be made for the long term.

The debate is....

Keep Bailey for another year or two V Play young players letting them gain experience

I personally think either will benefit us and don't see one as a better option than the other.

Again one player doesn't make a team nor does one player break a team either. To put those two defeats at feet of Andy Coley and to someway suggest they would haven't have happened if Bailey would have been there instead is wrong!

I'd actually love a debate on Coley vs Bailey as I don't see the hype when it comes 2 Bailey! For me Coley is vastly underrated at Wigan his go forward outshines Baileys and his defence isn't that far behind either! He's also bigger, faster and potentialy stronger 2.

That's before we start on his injury

Coley has his great go forward at the back end of this season, his defence does not stand out, he is slow, he cannot come into the line playing SR.

Bailey's defence outshines Coley's go forward IMO, he brings loads of experience to the team, he can come into the line as a SR.

As a SR it is Bailey by miles!

See I don't think Coley is slow! In fact he's one of our fastest forwards! Although he doesn't hit the line with pace when he's forced 2 put his foot down the guy can shift.

Also coleys best game this season was Salford away when he attacked far more down the wings.

I didn't blame Coley for the defeats, but I did intimate that those were our two biggest defeats of the season.

Coley playing second row and Bailey not playing are the only common denominators.

I would say that it was a factor in the size of the defeats.

We had beaten Leeds away in the league and lost narrowly in the cup with Bailey in the second row and Coley at prop.

Bailey did not play in our heavy home defeat to Saints.

Ok even if he is not slow, he is not as fast as Bailey which really should be the debate! If everyone moved up in defence like Bailey then the opposition would never get anywhere. Hopefully Maguire will get em fired up!
